We didn't go to Rochester for Christmas this year. Instead Adam's family celebrated in Bethesda, MD which was great because it's so close to my family in Baltimore. However, I did miss eating my yearly garbage plate. 2016's is pictured above. For those of you unfamiliar, a garbage plate is a Rochester delicacy consisting of the following -
Frech Fries or Home Fries
Mac Salad
Cheeseburger Patties or White Hots* 😝 (I skip this part)
Meat Hot Sauce (hot sauce with finely ground beef in it)
White Onions
Mustard + Ketchup
And yes, it is amazing.
*white hots are white hot dogs I find this notion appalling.
