On Sunday I saw AN EDUCATION and fell in love with Carey Mulligan all over again (the first time was after seeing her in Christopher Hampton's adaptation of THE SEAGULL on Bway last Fall, also with Peter Sarsgaard). I've had two run ins with her in the past year. Last February she was sitting in the seat in the front of me on a Virgin America flight from LA to NYC - we were both reading red bound CAA scripts. I saw her again the day after the Tony noms were announced in June. We were browsing at Top Shop on Oxford St. in London. Both times I chickened out of telling her I think she's great. Now the moment's past to ever do so. She's a star.
