I have done less clothes shopping since the election than usual. Whenever I have been tempted to hit the purchase button, I've tried to send in a donation instead. If I think I can afford that $100 metallic vintage blouse, then I can definitely afford to send $20 to the ACLU. It's been a good way to check myself in terms of spending, closet control, and trying to be less selfish. But it's still fun to day dream about a perfect ensemble and in that spirit, if I were to were a to buy a brand new Thanksgiving outfit this is what I would be wearing tomorrow...
(though the oversized dress I have packed will be much roomier for overeating)
