I finally finished CHRONIC CITY this week. A fellow Benningtonian I saw Lethem speak at the 2005 graduation ceremony. I have not read Motherless Brooklyn or The Fortress of Solitude which everyone who has tells me I should. For some reason I started my Lethem with CC. While I always enjoyed it while I was reading it, I was never dying to get on the subway to finish it. However, this is the same way I felt about The Master Bedroom and a couple of years later I still sometimes think about that book. So, who knows?
