save the intiman

I'm fairly sure no one reads my blog other than my roommates and sister - but if you are out there mysterious blog readers please read the below and donate to the Intiman Theatre in Seattle so they don't have to close and my spiritual advisor Tanya Barfield's play will go up as scheduled this Spring.

Dear Friends,

I just found out that the Intiman Theatre may be closing it's doors as early as this April.

The Intiman is home to artistic director Kate Whoriskey (director of Lynn Nottage's Pulitzer Prize winning RUINED)

I think it would be a huge loss for such a talented director as Kate to lose her artistic home, especially when plays like Tanya Barfield's THE CALL are on the line-up for the coming season.

Full Disclosure - I have never seen a show at the Intiman - in fact, I have never even been to Seattle. But I still feel strongly enough about keeping this theatre alive that I am donating to the cause.

If you feel the same please make a donation here - http://www.intiman.org/impact-intiman/

If facebook could get Betty White on SNL - we should be able to save the Intiman!

Please re-post this.

Thanks,

Sofia Alvarez
